This is a true international event with dancers traveling from around the globe, including China, Japan and Korea, Mexico, Peru and Argentina, New Zealand and Australia, Israel, Spain and Bulgaria, and from across the United States and Canada.
The event will be celebrated at the Events Center of the new South Coast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Vendors will be there to sell salsa memorabilia, clothing, books, CDs and DVDs, and many other items. After the competition, the dance floor will open up so that all guests can dance the night away to live music and renowned DJs, as they play Salsa, Mambo, Rumba and Cha-cha-cha.

About TV Producer Rob Beiner:
Rob Beiner will be producing the 2nd Annual World Salsa Championships for television. For more than twenty-five years, Beiner has produced or directed more than 2000 sports and entertainment telecasts for cable, network and Pay-Per-View television, including ABC Sports, CBS, NBC Sports, USA Network and ESPN. His successful production and direction career includes seven Olympic Games, notable Boxing Championship Fights such as Mike Tyson vs.Evander Holyfield, NCAA Basketball and Football, Comedy Central, and the Kentucky Derby. He is the recipient/winner of twelve SPORTS EMMY AWARDS from The National Academy of Theater Arts and Sciences.
